Tank Maintenance

EOSS have promoted tank maintenance for many years and we have put together a schedule of works that will allow you peace of mind especially in those winter months when a boiler or aga breakdown could cause you to be without heat or cooking facilities for some days.

The necessary works are carried out on a biannual basis and one of the most important functions is to extract any water (condensation) that has built up in the tank and remove this. Condensation will build up over a few years and if left will rust out a metal tank and cause boilers to fail. All tanks, especially plastic, have this problem due to temperature variation and the risk is increased by not having the tank full of oil for the majority of the year.

Not only do we test for and extract water etc, we also have several other important checks allowing for safe delivery of oil and tank and oil line integrity.
